The first time she launched Word, she was prompted for her user password to access Keychain, accessing her Office credentials, and logging her in. She's a bit new to macOS however, and this morning when she couldn't find Word in her dock, she thought to install it herself! She proceeded to the Office website, logged in, downloaded, and installed a full copy. We have a Family 365 subscription, so when she opened up Word for the first time, she logged in with her credentials, activated Office, and the whole suite worked fine. I used the App Store to download and install them.
When my sister got her new MacBook Pro, I performed a fresh install of macOS Monterey and installed her regular suite of software including Microsoft Office and OneDrive.
